Vikas Gupta was nominated along with Rahul Vaidhya, Nikki Tamboli, and Devoleena Bhattacharjee. Devoleena is playing proxy for Eijaz Khan.
Salman Khan first told the names of safe contestants of the week and they were Rahul Vaidhya and Nikki Tamboli. Later, Salman gave the name of Vikas Gupta for getting the least votes this week.
But Salman made Vikas remember that he has the Joker card unused. Salman told that Vikas can use his card. By using this card, Vikas can make himself safe from the elimination this week. But in return, the second least votes getter will be eliminated from the house.
Salman gave two minutes of time to Vikas to think about it. Vikas told housemates that people gave him lesser votes. If he uses his card then Devoleena will be eliminated from the house. This means Eijaz's elimination from the house as Devoleena is playing for Eijaz Khan.
Vikas told that this will be an injustice to the player and he decided not to use the card. Salman also praised Vikas for his thinking and told him that he is proud of him.
Vikas is eliminated just before three weeks of the Bigg Boss 14 Finale. Vikas was one of the bigg boss 14 winner contenders. Vikas was also runner up of Bigg Boss season 11. People are praising Vikas for this bold decision on social media.
